The Colorado College men's tennis team opened its 2023 spring break trip with a 6-3 loss to Pacific University Thursday in Forest Grove, Ore.
 
Pacific jumped out to an early 2-1 by winning the top two doubles matches. The Tigers captured the No. 3 match as 
August Knox and 
Nick Bishop won their second straight contest by defeating Ryley Chang and Aidan Rooney, 8-5.
 
In singles play, the Boxers won the top four matches, including a thrilling, 6-3, 6-7(3), 1-0(6) victory by Ben Dubois over Knox at the No. 4 spot.
 
CC's 
Jack Delafield won the No. 5 match, 6-3, 7-5, over Rooney, while 
Andrew Kaelin rallied to win at No. 6, 3-6, 7-6, 1-0(4) over Josh Matabuema.
 
The Tigers return to action on Friday, March 24, against Seattle University Mercer Island, Wash., beginning at 8 pm (MT).
