The Colorado College women's swimming and diving team opened the
Jen Buffin era and the 2024-25 season with a172-125 defeat at the hands of SCAC-foe Trinity University Friday night in San Antonio, Texas.

Sophomore
Isabella Cole led the way for CC, winning the 100 and 200 breaststroke races. Fellow sophomore
Alyssa Tunggal captured the 200 butterfly race and joined sophomore
Adeline Turner, junior
Malia Hewitt and freshman
Julia Cox on the second-place 400 medley relay team.

Cox and Turner finished first and second in the 100 freestyle, respectively, and joined Simonson and junior
Grace Ersfeld-O'Brien on the 400 freestyle relay team that placed second. Simonson won the 50 freestyle race as well.

In diving, senior
Emma Krasemann, the reigning SCAC Diver of the Year, finished first in the 3-meter and second in the 1-meter competitions.

"We competed hard tonight," said Buffin. "Everyone contributed to the success today."

Colorado College returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 19, against Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, beginning at 11 a.m. (CT).
