City For Champions Cup History
Weidner Field, the 8,000-person capacity venue in downtown Colorado Springs, will host the City for Champions Cup.
It is an endeavor between the city's two NCAA Division I women's soccer programs. Colorado College, Air Force, the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, and Switchbacks FC have partnered to plan and execute this exciting event, serving as each team's regular-season finale in the Mountain West. It was extended this year through 2029.
CC and Air Force battled to a 0-0 draw in 2023, and the Falcons won the inaugural C4C Cup 1-0 in 2022.
Tiger Tails
Tsamasfyros leads the Tigers with 13 points (6g, 1a) and has the most goals in a season for a CC player since 2019. The senior also leads the team with 39 shots and 16 on goal.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Regan Wallace is fifth in the Mountain West in shutouts per game (0.36) and has recorded a career-high six shutouts this year. The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif native allowed only 0.55 goals per game at Stewart Field and surrendered only one goal in conference play at home.
Four Tigers have scored multiple goals. Tsamasfyros, Schoenbeck, Memoly and
Kylie Smith combine for 16 goals. Three CC players (Tsamasfyros, Schoenbeck, Memoly) have four or more goals each for the first time since 2017.
Scouting the Opposition
Air Force enters Wednesday with a 5-9-3 (1-7-2) and is 12th in the Mountain West standings. The Falcons recently suffered back-to-back losses to San José State and Fresno State.

The Tigers have an 8-1-1 record over the Falcons in the last 10 matchups, including an eight-game winning streak from 2014-2021. Air Force defeated CC 1-0 in 2022 in the inaugural C4C Cup.
