Match Recap: Men's Tennis | | Athletic Communications

Tigers Rally to Defeat Midland University

After dropping two of the three doubles matches, the Colorado College men's tennis team won four singles matches and defeated Midland University, 5-4, Saturday afternoon at Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs.
 
Lucas Pastor and Nate Berman captured the only doubles win for the Tigers, winning the No. 3 match, 6-2, over Nathan Bitzer and Daniel Liebig.
 
In singles action, Pastor downed Joren Stevens, 6-1, 6-3, at the No. 2 position, while Hudson Chris won his first collegiate singles match, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 4. Beerman followed suit at No. 5 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory, then Aiden Little clinched the match with a thrilling, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0(8) victory over Vitor Goncalves at No. 3.
 
The Tigers return to action on Sunday, March 10, against SCAC foe Austin College at Lifetime Fitness, beginning at 8 a.m.
