The Colorado College men's basketball team was announced as a recipient of the 2024 National Association of Basketball Coaches Team Academic Excellence Award. Additionally, 10 student-athletes from the program were named members of the 2024 NABC Honors Court for the 2023-24 academic school year.
This is the 12th time the program has received the award for posting a combined grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for all student-athletes who competed during the athletic season.
"At Colorado College, we prioritize a complete Co-Curricular experience. A championship culture that creates a holistic expectation of excellence in every aspect of our scholar athlete's lives. So, it's not surprising to me that our team has become a mainstay on the NABC team academic excellence award list. It's a credit to our players," head coach
Jeff Conarroe said. "They work their tails off and have built disciplined habits and championship behaviors. They are indeed champions in every aspect of their life, and we are so proud of them; every employer should prioritize hiring Colorado College student-athletes."
The NABC Honors Court is an elite group that includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who have excelled academically. To be eligible, these players must have finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
