Box Score The Colorado College men's tennis team fought hard but dropped a 4-3 decision to Newman University Friday afternoon in Pueblo, Colo.
 
The Tigers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by winning two of the three doubles matches. Sophomores Dominik Kaminski and Juston Boder won the No. 1 match for the second straight day, 6-3, over Ali Maurer and Nicolo Lippolis. Senior Aiden Little and freshman Sam Dilworth clinched the doubles point with 7-5 win over Enrico Belendo and Andrea Torrini at No. 3
 
Kaminski won the No. 3 singles match for the second straight day, rallying to beat David Javadov, 6-7(4), 7-6(5), 1-0(4). Junior Nick Anderson won the No. 6 match in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 1-0(9) over Genaro Dagotto.
 
Newman University won the other four singles matches, three of them n three sets.
 
The Tigers return to action at the ITA Division III West Region Tournament, Sept. 27-29, in Claremont, Calif.
