Sophomore Dominik Kaminski fell just short of winning the 'B' flight final Sunday at the ITA West Regional Tennis Tournament in Claremont, Calif. Kaminski lost to Vitomir Petcov of Redlands, 7-6(6), 6-3.
 
On Saturday, Kaminski rallied to defeat Radin Sadeghi of UC Santa Cruz, 4-6, 7-6(5), 1-0(6), in the quarterfinals, then handled the flight's No. 2 seed Mac Caldwell of Chapman University, 6-4, 6-1, in the semis.
 
"This was a terrific finish to our fall season," head coach Anthony Weber said. "It was the first time we had two players in the A Singles draw. The 'luck of the draw" played a factor in our results as Aiden (LIttle) lost to either the #1 seed in singles. Dominik advancing to the B Draw final was huge. He had to win ugly at some point in this tournament, but he stepped up mentally to find a way to get it done."

The Tigers wrapped up their fall schedule with the regional tournament.
