Â
The match went into halftime tied at 0-0, but the Thunderbirds struck first in the 52nd minute and scored again in the 57th minute. CC tried to come back, putting up two second-half shots, but couldn't find the back of the net.Â

Sweet Sweet Stewart

Â
CC started the home schedule with a 1-0 victory over the 2023 Summit League Tournament champion, South Dakota State. Then, the Tigers followed it up with impressive victories over two in-state foes: Northern Colorado (1-0) and UCCS (4-1).Â
Â
At Stewart, CC has outscored their opponents 7-1 and outshot opponents on net 29-1.Â
Â
Streak of Tigers

Â
Freshman

Kylie Smith currently lead the Tigers with five points (2g, 1a) each. Five Tigers have two or more points through the first six games.Â
Senior
Kaelin Enga had one of the more impressive singular performances this season with a goal and two assists against UCCS on Aug. 28. It was a career-high for the Colorado Springs native and stands as the only multi-assist game for any CC player this season.Â
Â
Enga's multi-assist game was the first for a Tiger since CC legend Jacqui Hand had two assists on Oct. 14, 2021, against Boise State.Â
