The Colorado College women's swimming and diving team returns to action with a dual meet against CSU-Pueblo on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Sam Jones Aquatic Center in Pueblo. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

The Tigers traveled to Danville, Ky., for the Speedo Invitational, Nov. 21-23, hosted by Centre College.

The women finished in third place, while the men placed fifth.

Julia Cox and
Keller Pooley highlighted the women's team.
Â
Cox posted lifetime-best times in all three of her primary events, including a school-record of 51.78 in the 100 freestyle, placing second in the race.

She also finished second in the 50 free with a personal-best time of 23.99, then finished third in the 200 free with a PR of 1:53.63. In addition, all five relays she swam on placed second overall in the meet and her top relay split was 23.42 in the 200 medley relay.

Pooley, meanwhile, won both diving events and set a meet record with 397.45 points in the 1-meter. She also captured the 3-meter event with a regional qualifying score of 412.50 points.

For the men, Edmund Davis posted a couple of sixth-place finishes in the 500 and 1650 freestyle events.

Logan Loveday produced the Tigers' best finish, placing fourth in the 400 IM, while Nico Davis was fifth in the 1-meter diving.

Cox Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week
Following the meet at Centre College,
Julia Cox was named the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Following Winter Break, both teams will face Chapman University on Friday, Jan. 9, in Orange, Calif., and Occidental on Sunday, Jan. 11, in Los Angeles.
