The Colorado College tennis teams continue the spring season with a match against Division I Marist University on Thursday, March 13, at the Air Force Academy. The women's match will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the men at noon.

Last Time Out
The Tigers faced off against Barton Community College on Sunday, Feb. 23.
The women's squad improved to 3-2 this season with a 6-1 victory over Barton.
With Barton only fielding three players, the Tigers jumped out to a 1-0 lead by winning the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles matches by default.
Ally Lowe and
Aspen Young dropped the No. 1 match, 6-3, to Victoria Campigotto and Vania Dotse
Dotse defeated
Avery Hickman, 6-2, 6-2, at the No. singles spot, but Lowe was winning 7-5, 4-1, at the No. 2 spot when Campigotto retired, and Young beat Salalee Seejong, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 3.
Colorado College won the other three singles matches by default.
The men, meanwhile, fell to Barton, 5-2.
The Cougars jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches.
Dominik Kaminski and
Justin Boder dropped the No. 1 match to Gabriel Garay and Hayden Loffler, 6-1. Victor Alves and Shane Tapera downed
Sam Dilworth and
Nico Davis, 6-0, at No. 2, while Mohammed Abuzed and Oliver Nande beat
Nick Anderson and
Aiden Little, 6-3, at the No. 3 spot.
Little and
Mateo Melgar captured singles wins for the Tigers on Sunday. Little defeated Alves, 7-6(5), 6-2, at the No. 2 position, then Melgar beat Nande, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 5.
Lucas Pastor took Garay to the brink at the No. 1 spot before falling, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0(() and Loffler defeated Anderson 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(7) at the No. 6 spot. BCC won the other two matches in straight sets.

The Tigers travel to California for their annual spring break trip, beginning on Saturday, Marh 15, against Cal Tech in Pasadena. The women will begin at 11 a.m. (PT), followed by the men at 3 p.m. (PT).
