The Colorado College men's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to 50^th-ranked Southwestern University in the SCAC semifinals Saturday morning in Waco, Texas.
 
The Pirates jumped out to a 1-0 lead by winning the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles matches. Dominik Kaminski and Lenny Lehmitz fell, 6-3, to Oscar Roy and Ashton Ellis at the No. 1 spot, while Sebastian Herrera and Landon Sosebee downed Nick Anderson and Nico Davis, 6-0, at No. 3.
 
Kaminski and Dilworth each captured his singles match in three sets on Saturday. Kaminski rallied to beat Ellis, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, at the No. 3 position, while Dilworth defeated Clemente, 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-3 at No. 4.
 
Roy won the first singles match off the court, downing Lucas Pastor, 6-1, 6-0, at the top spot. Parth Patel downed Mateo Melgar at No. 6, 6-0, 7-5, then Nolan Alvarez clinched the match for Southwestern with a 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-3, victory over Lenny Lehmitz at No. 5.
 
The No. 2 match was pulled off the court with CC's Aiden Little leading Nathan Qi, 3-6, 6-3, 3-1.
 
The 72^nd-ranked Tigers (6-14) will face Concordia University in the third-place match on Sunday, April 27, beginning at 9 a.m. (CT).
