The Colorado College men's basketball team was named among the universities that earned the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award, and also had 10 players named to the NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
"I'm incredibly honored to lead such a smart and talented group of young men. Not only do they aspire to excellence in every way, consistently displaying the work ethic and toughness required in every facet of their lives," head coach
Jeff Conarroe said. "But it's their intellectual curiosity and desire to grow that makes them so cool. I am so proud of our team for continuing to raise the bar."
This is the 13th time in program history that CC has earned the Team Academic Excellence Award.
Graduated seniors,
Scott Ruegg,
Adrian Price,
Kyle Lee,
Leo Magnus and
Kevin Dittman and juniors
Asher Nofziger, Corey Shivley,
Noah Deitch and
Orion Samikoglu were named as Honors Court members.
They joined over 2,400 players who earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and CC was one of nearly 400 programs to receive NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2024-25.
