The Colorado College men's soccer team opens SCAC play with a pair of games at Stewart Field this weekend. The Tigers will host the University of the Ozarks on Friday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m., and Hendrix College on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 12 p.m.
CC (3-0-3) collected its first unbeaten non-conference slate for the first time since 2016.
Last Time Out
The Tigers shut out Carroll University, 2-0, in their last non-conference matchup on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Stewart Field. Sophomore
Teddy Opler and freshman Ewen Roberston found the back of the net for the Tigers on the day, both off assists from senior captain
Rex Karjian.
Karjian tied his career high of two assists in a single game and now has six points this season, tied for second on the team.
Robertson finished with the goal, four shots, two on goal, and played 60 minutes. Opler had two shots, both on target and the game-winning goal.
Junior goalkeeper
Alex Wolter tabbed his fourth shutout of the season after making one save against the Pioneers. Wolter improved his record on the year to 3-0-2 in net.
Scouting The Opposition
University of Ozarks enters the weekend with a 1-4-2 record after losing to Emory, 4-0, in its final non-conference game. Meanwhile, Hendrix is 1-2-1 entering its SCAC opener at the University of Dallas on Friday.
