Colorado College freshman Wilson Björck won a gold medal with Team Sweden at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship. Team Sweden defeated Czechia, 4-2, in the final Monday in St. Paul, Minn.
 
Björck is the second Colorado College player to win gold at the World Junior Championship, joining 2006 graduate Brett Sterling, who helped Team USA win its first title in 2004.
 
The winger from Stockholm, Sweden, appeared in three games for Team Sweden during the '26 tournament, including the 4-3 overtime semifinal victory over Finland and the final.
