Men's Soccer Opens SCAC Play with Arkansas Swing

The Colorado College Tigers wrap up an eight game road trip this weekend as they travel to complete the Arkansas swing to open Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action.

The Tigers are coming off just their second loss of the season after they fell 2-0 in a neutral site match against St. John's University in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to that match, they defeated Nebraska Wesleyan seeing Whit Hynes score his first goal of the season to lift the Tigers to a 1-0 win in Lincoln.

ABOUT HENDRIX
Hendrix is off to a rocky start to the 2026 season as they sit at 1-4-1 through six matches. The Warriors are very well rested, as they have played just two matches in the last ten days, all of which being played at home in Conway, Arkansas. Josh Montgomery leads the offense with three goals, as Tripp Ortega is close behind with two goals. JJ Goodsky-Evans is the only other goal-scorer on the roster with one. Cameron Jonier has maned the net in all six matches, allowing 13 goals and making 36 saves.

ABOUT OZARKS
Perhaps the game of the weekend, the Tigers and Eagles will face off on Sunday morning in Clarksville as the Eagles enter the weekend with a 5-1-3 record to start the conference schedule. The Eagles open SCAC action with University of Dallas on Friday at home. Hayden Pickering is the man to watch up front with five goals and three assists on the season, as the Eagles prolific attack features five players with two or more goals on the year. Natanel Raitsin is the expected starter in goal, allowing just two goals in 548 minutes while making 22 saves.
