Men's Soccer Back at Home for Second Weekend of SCAC Play

The Colorado College Tigers return home for the first time since the opening weekend of the season, welcoming St. Thomas and Centenary to Stewart Field for the second weekend of SCAC action.

The Tigers are coming off back-to-back wins to open conference play having swept both Arkansas teams in Hendrix (4-0) and University of the Ozarks (2-1).

ABOUT ST. THOMAS
St. Thomas has a mixed bag of results entering conference play, sitting at 3-4-1 through eight matches this fall. They opened the SCAC schedule with a win against Centenary on Saturday 2-1 on the road. Brian Garcia and Diego Guerra lead the attack for the Celts, each with three goals and one assist on the season. Juan Guzman and Dillon Trimble also have been involved up front, each with a pair of goals on the season.

ABOUT CENTENARY 
Centenary enters the weekend with a 3-4 record with the lone loss to St. Thomas to start conference action. The Gents will begin the weekend with a Friday evening match at University of Dallas, before finishing at CC on Sunday morning. Jesse Lang, Jose Gomez, and Harvey Butcher all lead the offense for Centenary, each with two goals as Butcher leads the way in total offense with three additional assists. Andres Osorio is the expected starter in net for the Gents, playing and starting all seven games and allowing 14 goals while saving 43.

SERIES HISTORY
The Tigers will face off with St. Thomas for the eleventh time in program history, they are 5-3-2 in that series. The Tigers will take on Centenary for the 24th time on Sunday, they are 20-3 against the Gents.

UP NEXT
