Men's Swim and Dive Team Posts Nation's Best GPA; Women No. 2 in Country

The Colorado College men's swimming and diving team compiled the highest grade-point average across all divisions and the women's squad had the highest in Division III and second-highest among all divisions as both programs earned Scholar All-American honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2026 spring semester.

For the 25th consecutive semester, both teams were recognized for their academic excellence.

The CC men posted a 3.87 team GPA, the highest in the country regardless of division for the second consecutive semester. The women, meanwhile, racked up a 3.92 team GPA, tops in Division III and second among all divisions.

"I am incredibly proud of all of our student-athletes and the contributions they make to this program, both in the classroom and in the pool," head coach Jen Buffin said. "They have embraced academic excellence as a core team standard, consistently demonstrating that success in the classroom is just as important as success in competition. Their commitment continues to strengthen our program's reputation for academic excellence, not only within our conference but across all NCAA divisions. This recognition reflects the discipline, accountability, and dedication our student-athletes bring to every aspect of their Colorado College experience."

To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the spring 2026 semester.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's oldest professional organization of college coaches. Its mission is to serve and provide leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
