HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2008-09: Fredheim was named WCHA Offensive Player of the Week in December of his junior season after scoring the game-winning goal and adding a pair of assists in a 7-0 victory over Sacred Heart University...established career highs with two goals, five assists and seven points overall while skating in 32 of Colorado College’s 38 outings...half of his 12 career assists as a Tiger have come on game winners.
2007-08: Got off to a great start his sophomore season, assisting on Chad Rau’s game-winning goal in overtime that completed an opening-weekend sweep of Minnesota, then remained a steady and consistent force at the blue line throughout the campaign...emerged as one of Colorado College’s top penalty killers, succeeding on 150 of 152 PK shifts (98.7 percent) including a perfect six-for-six in five-on-three situations...also helped set up the GWG in a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Bemidji State.
2006-07: Platooned at the blue line with classmate Nate Prosser for most of their rookie season, gaining more confidence and poise as the year wore on...scored his first collegiate goal in a 2-2 tie at St. Cloud State in early February after assisting on the game winner in a 5-3 victory over Bemidji State in late December.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: A sixth-round selection of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2005 NHL draft, Fredheim spent two seasons with the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League before joining the Tigers...was voted SJHL Defenseman of the Year in 2005-06, when he collected 46 points (14g,32a) in 63 games and was credited with three game-winning goals...also a former Defensive Player of the Year in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League and played for Team Pacific at the Under-17 World Championships in Newfoundland.
