HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2008-09: Overman compiled career highs with four goals, three assists and seven points while skating on Colorado College’s third or fourth line in 28 games as a junior...assisted on the game-winning tally in a 3-2 victory over the University of Denver in early November...scored in three consecutive games at mid-season.
2007-08: Co-recipient of the team’s annual Dave Peterson Award as Most Improved Player, Overman was able to make an impact almost immediately once given the opportunity his sophomore season...scored the game-winning goal and only tally of the contest in just his third appearance, a 1-0 victory at Alaska Anchorage in late November, then suited up for 20 of CC’s 28 outings the rest of the way...struck for another game winner as the Tigers beat Denver, 3-1, in their regular-season finale at the World Arena, after picking up key assists against Clarkson and Minnesota Duluth.
2006-07: Despite limited ice time his freshman year, Overman was able to rehabilitate from a previously sustained injury and practice at close to 100 percent for most of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: A former standout at Bloomington Jefferson High School, Overman spent most of the 2005-06 season on injured-reserve status with Sioux Falls of the United States Hockey League, collecting a goal and an assist in two games for the Anderson Cup champion and Clark Cup finalist Stampede...amassed 93 points (42g,51a) his last two years as a prep, including 57 (23g,34a) as a senior in 2004-05 when Jefferson claimed conference and sectional championships en route to a state tournament appearance...earned all-state honors that season after emerging as the state tourney’s leading scorer.
