Biography

2011:
Team MVP and a second-team all-Conference USA selection … Started all 20 games and was the only field player on the pitch for all 1,860 minutes … Anchored the back line which helped post nine shutouts and held 17 of 20 opponents to fewer than 10 shots on goal … Only one-C-USA opponent managed 10 or more shots on target … Following the 4-1 loss to North Carolina State on Sept. 4, CC lowered its goals-against average from 2.41 to 0.96 … The Tigers allowed just five goals in conference play and tied for first with a 0.45 GAA.

2010: A starter in Colorado College's back four in all but one match as a junior, Wright struck for the game-winning-goal in a 2-0 victory over the University of Southern Mississippi in mid-October...destined to be one of Conference USA's top defenders as a senior in 2011.

2009: One of seven Tigers to start every contest, and playing nearly every minute of all 20, Wright solidified her role as a team leader and mainstay in the Colorado College back...scored her first career goal, the game winner, in a 4-0 victory over the the University of New Hampshire...among her four assists was one on the GWG in another 4-0 triumph over Marshall University.

2008: Started in all 14 games against Conference USA opponents, including both playoff matches, while establishing herself as a key member of a defense that allowed only 19 goals for the first of two consecutive seasons…handled most of the team’s corner kicks throughout her rookie campaign, picking up a pair of assists in wins over SMU and UAB.

Before Colorado College: Wright completed her prep career at Eastlake High School in fall of 2007, helping her team go 19-0-0, win a state 4A championship and earn a No. 6 national ranking from the NSCAA...was named Eastlake’s Defensive Player of the Year as well as to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer All-Star squad...a veteran of the U14, U15 and U16 National Team Pools, and a member of the Region 4 Olympic Development Program...listed among the nation’s Top 75 Recruits by SoccerBuzz.com, she was invited to the USASA Elite Player National Team Camp in San Bernardino, Calif., in July 2008.

Coach's Comments
"This fall is Beth's time to put her stamp on C-USA. She's smart, technical and a good leader. Beth has the ability to be all-conference and we know she will give everything she has to our team and its goals."
