2011-12: Swam the second leg for the 800 freestyle relay team that finished 12th at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in a time of 7:24.10 … Set three season-best marks in individual events … Finished 17th in the 200 free in 1:50.80, missing the consolation finals by just .29 seconds … Was 21st in the 50 free in 22.46 and 23rd in the 100 free with a clocking of 50.14.  

2010-11: Set personal bests in the 50 and 100 freestyle events during the SCAC Championships his freshman season … Swam on the 200 free relay that finished second at the SCAC Championships ... Earned a spot on the SCAC's Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.

Before Colorado College: Member of the swimming, football and lacrosse teams at Weston High School in Weston, Conn. … Was captain of the swimming team as a senior … Finished third in the state in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle … A three-time all-state selection … Team won state titles in 2008 and ’10, and was runner-up in 2007 and ’09 … Part of the schools record-setting 200 freestyle relay team … Earned academic all-conference honors all four seasons.
