HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2010-11: An alternate captain who recorded six multiple-point games, including a pair with three, Dineen was the only Colorado College forward to play in every game his junior season...recipient of the team’s annual Steve Ebert Award recognizing a combination of dedication, desire, ability and sportsmanship...notched CC’s only hat trick of the season in a 5-2 victory over Nebraska Omaha in mid-December...posted career highs in goals, assists and points while assisting on the game-winning goal in home-ice victories over Denver (9-2), Michigan Tech (7-3) and Wisconsin (4-3 in overtime)...the last of those three came in Game 2 of the first round of the WCHA playoffs.
2009-10: Voted co-recipient of the team’s Tony Frasca Award, as post-season MVP, after scoring three goals and adding an assist in a first-round WCHA playoff series at the University of Minnesota Duluth...missed only two games as a sophomore, typically centering the fourth line and killing penalties...struck for solo tallies, including a shorthanded effort against Michigan Tech, in victories over MTU, Robert Morris, St. Cloud State, Denver and UMD.
2008-09: Played in 24 games as a freshman before an injury sidelined him for the last month of the season...made his official CC debut during a road trip to Clarkson University in late October, helping CC to a pair of non-conference ties there, then recorded his first career point a week later by setting up the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Denver at the World Arena...three of his six assists overall, including one each in subsequent triumphs over Sacred Heart and Minnesota State, came on GWG. 

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: Dineen spent three seasons with Sioux Falls of the United States Hockey League, helping the Stampede win the Anderson Cup as USHL regular-season champion in 2005-06 and the Clark Cup as playoff champion in 2006-07...collected 56 points (27g,29a) in 61 games his final campaign, when he also skated for Team USA at the World Junior A Challenge in early November and scored a pair of goals to help the Americans win the bronze-medal game.

PERSONAL NOTES: Born Nicholas Gerard Dineen, son of Dick and Eileen Dineen of Omaha, Nebraska...attended three different high schools, including Lewis Palmer and Liberty in the Colorado Springs area, while playing midget hockey for the Pikes Peak Miners...enjoys the outdoors, particularly fishing and playing golf, in his leisure time.
