Biography

2013-14: Was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships … Helped his team win the 800 freestyle relay at the Colorado College Classic … Swam in the 800 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay to help his team earn second and fifth place, respectively at the SCAC Championships … Swam the third leg of the 200 freestyle relay to help his team place second at the CC Classic … Teamed with Matt Nadel, Crane Sarris and Colin Chupik to finish third in the 400 freestyle relay at the CC Classic … Swam the third leg in the 200 medley relay to help his team finish third at the CC Classic … Finished fourth in the 100 fly at the CC Classic … Swam in the 400 medley relay to help his team place fifth at the SCAC Championships … Finished seventh in the 100 butterfly at the SCAC Championships … Was ninth in the 50 freestyle at the CC Classic … Placed 14th in the 100 freestyle at the CC Classic … Was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.  
   
2012-13: Earned his second career title at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in the 800-yard freestyle relay, teaming with Matt Nadel, Robbie Adler and Brian Kopec to post a winning time of 7:00.40 … In the final event of the meet, joined forces with Colin Chupik, Kopec and Flynn McGuire for a third-place finish in the 400 free relay with a season-best effort of 3:08.36 … Made three individual podium appearances, including a fifth-place finish in the 100 butterfly in 52.01 … Took seventh in the 100 free with an effort of 47.60 … His time of 22.30 in the 50 free was good for 12th place … Combined with Kopec, Erik Laitos and Garrett Cry to take second in the consolation final and seventh overall in the 200 free relay with an effort of 1:28.63 … Teamed with Erik Laitos, Tyler Larrabee and Matt Nadel for a ninth-place finish in the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:38.47 … Earned a spot on the SCAC Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.
    
2011-12: Had a pair of individual podium finishes at the 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships … Finished fourth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:58.50 and took fifth in the 100 fly in a season-best 52.47 … Also was 13th in the 50 freestyle in 22.18 … Swam the third leg for the 400 free relay team that won the conference championship in a school-record time of 3:04.02 as well as the 200 free relay squad that finished second in a CC record time of 1:23.26 … Swam the butterfly leg for the 200 medley relay team that finished third in a time of 1:38.20 as well as the 400 medley relay team that finished 11th in 3:38.60 … Earned a spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.
    
2010-11: Finished 10th in the 100 butterfly and 13th in the 100 freestyle at the SCAC Championships during his freshman year … Posted career bests in the 50 free (22.49), 100 free (48.62) and the 100 fly (53.23) … Swam on the 200 medley relay that finished in third place, breaking the school record with a time of 1:35.46 … Placed eighth in the 100 fly at the Colorado College Classic.
