2011-12: Earned a spot on the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America First Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) … He is the first CC swimmer and 18th student-athlete overall to receive the highly-competitive distinction since the Academic All-America progam began in 1952 ... Secured All-America honors by winning the 200-yard freestyle at the 2012 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championship in a school-record and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference open standard of 1:37.51 … He became just the second swimmer in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference history to win a national title …Earned honorable mention All-America recognition with a 14th-place finish in the 100 free and as part of the CC foursome that placed 12th in the 800 free relay in a school-record time of 6:45.85 ... Also tied for 22nd place in the preliminaries of the 50-yard freestyle in 20.76 … Named a Scholar All-American by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for recording a minimum 3.5 grade-point average and competing at the NCAA Championships … Repeated as the SCAC’s Swimmer of the Year to become only the third student-athlete in conference history to earn the distinction more than once … Also was named Swimmer of the Meet at the conference championships for the second year in a row … Set school records while winning the 50 (20.55), 100 (44.81) and 200 free (1:38.34) … Anchored the 400 and 800 free relay teams that won the conference championships with CC record times of 3:04.02 and 6:47.01, respectively … Also swam the anchor leg for the 200 free relay team that finished second (1:23.26) and the 400 medley relay team that finished third (3:29.58) … Earned a spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.
  
2010-11: Was named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America second team during his junior year … Named to the Capital One Academic All-District team … Earned All-America honors by finishing fourth in the 200 freestyle at the 2011 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships for the second highest finish of any Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference individual swimmer … Earned honorable mention All-America honors with a 13th-place finish in the 100 free … Was honored with the SCAC Male Swimmer of the Year award … Was named the Male Swimmer of the Meet at the SCAC Championships … Was named a CSCAA Scholar All-American … Broke the SCAC record in the 100 butterfly (49.83) during the conference championships … Broke school records in the 100 free (45.59), 200 free (1:40.13) and 100 fly (49.83) during the SCAC Championships, which were all NCAA “B” qualifying times … Was named the SCAC Swimmer of the Week after winning all four of his individual events at the Colorado College Classic … Won every race he competed in prior to the NCAA Championships … Currently holds five individual records and shares five relay records at CC … Earned a spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.

2009-10: Earned honorable mention All-America honors with a ninth-place finish in the 200 freestyle … Made the NCAA “B” cuts in the 100 and 200 free during the SCAC Championships as a sophomore … Was named SCAC men’s Swimmer of the Week after winning all seven of his events against Wheaton College and Tufts University … Broke two of his own school records while finishing first in the 200 free (1:40.14) and third in the 200 individual medley (1:55.31) at the SCAC Championships … Placed second in the 100 free, clocking a season-best 46.06 at the SCAC Championships … Received a spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.

2008-2009: Made NCAA “B” cuts in the 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle as a freshman, when he earned Academic All-America honors from the CSCAA  ...  Finished second in the 200 freestyle, third in the 200 individual medley and fourth in the 200 butterfly at the SCAC Championships ... Set individual school records in the 200 free (1:41:29), 200 fly (1:55.66) and 200 IM (1:56.21), as well as on one medley (400) and three free (200, 400 and 800) relay teams.
