2013-14: Was named an honorable mention Scholar All-American … Was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships … Helped his team win the 800 freestyle relay at the Colorado College Classic … Swam in the 800 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay to help his team earn second and fifth place, respectively at the SCAC Championships … Swam the final leg of the 400 medley relay to help his team place fifth at the SCAC Championships … Was second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.26 at the CC Classic … Placed second in the 200 butterfly and third in the 200 IM at the SCAC Championships to break school records in both events  … Swam the first leg of the 200 freestyle relay at the CC Classic … Teamed with Matt Nadel, Michael Bennett and Crane Sarris to finish third in the 400 freestyle relay at the CC Classic … Finished with a time of 1:50.29 to place third in the 200 freestyle at the CC Classic … Was fifth in the 100 butterfly at the SCAC Championships … Placed sixth in the 100 fly and seventh in the 50 freestyle at the CC Classic … Was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.
   
2012-13: Named the team’s Rookie of the Year … Won the 200-yard butterfly at his first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, touching the wall in a school-record and NCAA ‘B’ time of 1:53.50 … Joined Robbie Adler, Chris Garrity and Flynn McGuire for a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay in a school-record time of 1:34.80 … Earned all-conference honors in two other relay events, including the 400 medley when he teamed with Garrity, Adler, and McGuire for a third-place finish in a school-record 3:28.56 … In the final event of the meet, he combined with Michael Bennett, Brian Kopec and McGuire for third in the 400 free relay with a season-best effort of 3:08.36 … Began the championships with a fourth-place finish in the 200 free relay, combining with Garrity, Sam Zuke and McGuire combined for a season-best time of 1:25.30 that was just .02 out of third … Finished fourth in the 50 freestyle in a season-best effort of 21.35 … Also took fourth in the 100 butterfly in a clocking of 51.57 … Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week on Dec. 11 … Won the 200 fly at the Colorado College Classic with an effort of 2:01.45 … Earned a spot on the SCAC Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.
   
Before Colorado College: A member of the swimming and track & field teams at Bainbridge High School in Bainbridge Island, Wash. … Earned a total of six varsity letters, including four in swimming … Helped the Spartans finish third at the 2012 Washington 3A state championships … Swam the anchor leg for the 400-yard freestyle that took second place … Also finished fourth in the 100 and fifth in the 50 free … Also won the 50 free at the district meet … Owns a share of BHS records in the 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free relays … Named a NISCA/Speedo Academic All-America honors … Took first place in the Washington State High School Photography Contest in the black and white landscape category … Also competed for the Bainbridge Island Swim Club.
