2014-15: Played most of the season at the No. 3 singles position … won three of his four matches at that spot … defeated David Smith of Austin College, 6-2, 7-5 at No. 5 in the final match of the season to help CC defeat Austin College, 5-1 … won two matches at No. 3 doubles with Jack Benham … an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
 
2013-2014: Shaw moved up in CC's lineup as a sophomore, competing regularly at No. 4 singles where he posted a 7-7 record ... also was 2-1 in three appearances at No. 3 ... played with three different doubles partners while going 9-10 overall including a winning 3-2 mark with Dylan Ball at No. 2.

2012-2013: Competed in 14 singles and doubles matches as a freshman … finished with a 5-3 record at No. 5 singles and a 4-2 mark at No. 6 singles … put together a five-match winning streak starting with Southwestern University and Hastings College then continuing with three more perfect matches in that span, prevailing in both doubles and singles against Sul Ross State University, Texas Lutheran and Southwestern … posted an overall record of 8-6 in doubles.  

Before Colorado College: Earned four varsity letters playing tennis at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas … received the Falcon’s Team Player and Mind-Body-Spirit Awards.
