Biography
2010: The Most Valuable Woman award-winner, the team’s only senior, became the first Tigers athlete, man or woman, to garner all-conference honors all four years with her third such honor in the triple jump (third, 35-7.75)… Also shared Most Inspirational award with Luisa Tur and Laura Newcombe… Part of fifth-place 1,600 relay…Set personal best 2:23.73 in 800 at Occidental (Calif.) Invitational and season best 59.79 in 400 (Last Chance)…Named as Female Athlete of the Year by CC’s student athlete advisory committee… Garnered the annual Laura Golden Award as CC’s top female student-athlete in the 2010 graduating class as voted by all the coaches at CC… Also received the prestigious El Pomar Fellowship Award, garnering her a two-year post-undergraduate leadership training program with the foundation and an internship in the non-profit sector.
2009: Moore set a school outdoor record in the 400 meters her junior year, with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 57.59 seconds...named Athlete of the Week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after a stellar performance at the Grinnell Invitational, and earned a spot on the SCAC All-Academic Team...honored as CC's most improved and most valuable player while serving as team captain.
2008: Set a school record in the indoors 60-meter event, with a clocking of 8.56 seconds...helped Colorado College's 1,600 relay team finish third and earn all-conference accolades at the SCAC championship meet in Greencastle, Ind.
2007: Recipient of CC's annual Rookie Award after garnering All-SCAC recognition in the triple jump.
