2015-16: Played No. 1 singles and doubles … won eight matches at the top spot, including five three-setters … rallied to beat Parker Jones of Division II Metro State, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(6) and Mark Gueswell of Hastings College, 1-6, 6-4, 7-6(6) … won six doubles matches with Daniel Holland, including an 8-5 victory at the top spot over Austin College in the first round of the SCAC Championship.

2014-15: Played No. 1 singles and doubles for the entire season … earned a spot on the 2015 SCAC Men’s All-Tournament team for going 2-0 at No. 1 singles … posted records of 8-11 in singles 7-12 in doubles … finished the season strong with a four-match singles winning streak, all against conference opponents … also posted a four-match win streak with teammate Jack Burger at the top doubles spot … named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
 
2013-14: Gutierrez earned CC's No. 1 singles slot his rookie season, consistently competing against each opponent's top player ... recorded his first collegiate victory in mid-March with a come-from-behind 1-6, 7-6(4), 1-0(0) triumph vs. Illinois Wesleyan University during the team's spring-break trip to Florida ... teamed with three different partners to go 9-10 overall in doubles, including a winning 3-1 mark with Taylor Delehanty at No. 2.
 
Before Colorado College: Four-year letterwinner in tennis … team captain his junior season … second-team all-conference performer … advanced to the state doubles tournament as a sophomore and junior.
