2007: A hard-nosed defender who typically plays every minute of every game, Bannerman started in all of CC’s matches for the second consecutive season...logged 1,759 minutes, second highest total on the team...the first of her career-best four assists came on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at home over McNeese State University.
2006: Bannerman gained confidence in stepping up into the offense upon occasion, scoring her first career goal in a 4-1 Conference USA playoff victory over regular-season champion SMU...earlier recorded her first point with an assist in a 2-0 triumph over California Riverside.
2005: Played in 17 of 18 matches as a freshman, starting in all but one of them…established herself as a tough competitor who plays very technically and isn’t afraid of physical contact.
Before Colorado College
A graduate of Waubonsie Valley Central High School in Aurora, Ill., where she served as soccer team captain her last two years, Bannerman earned all-conference honors as a junior in 2004...her experience in the Olympic Development Program includes a four-year stint with the ‘87 Illinois State team (2000-03)...also a member of the Region II pool in 2001...her club team – the Windy City Pride – recently ranked 10th in the country after winning Illinois State Cup titles for three consecutive years and finishing as Snickers Nationals runner-up in 2004...named Club Wide Defender of the Year in 2001 and 2003.
