A three-sport standout and Athlete of the Year at Redlands East Valley High School in Southern California, Rhodes earned 10 varsity letters – four in track and field, as well as three each in cross country and soccer – during her prep career...led the soccer team with 39 points (12g,15a) as a junior and 34 (11g,12a) as a senior, when she was named to the all-CIF SS and all-area teams...East Valley went undefeated in conference play her junior year en route to a Citrus Belt League title and overall record of 24-3-2. A year later, the Wildcats finished 15-7-4 after reaching the Division II sectional playoffs for the third consecutive year.
