HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2008-09: Honored as a WCHA Scholar Athlete and member of the All-WCHA Academic Team for the second consecutive year, Sweatt scored a career-high 12 goals and recorded five multiple-point games as a junior last season...one of the fastest skaters in all of college hockey who continued to see an abundance of ice time on special teams in addition to his regular shifts on the first or second line...assisted on the game-winning goal in a pair of 4-3 road victories at Minnesota State and Wisconsin.

2007-08: Played in all situations as a sophomore – five-on-five, four-on-four, power play and penalty kill – and finished among the team leaders with a +13 plus-minus rating...his 98-percent success ratio on PK?shifts also ranked among the Tigers’ best...nine (4g,5a) of his 27 points came on the power play...scored the game-winning goal in the third period of a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Bemidji State, and set up Mike Testwuide’s overtime tally in a first-round WCHA playoff victory over Alaska Anchorage...recorded at least one point in nine of CC’s first 11 games, with a goal and assist in the season opener against Minnesota and a pair of assists each in home-ice victories over Minnesota Duluth, Wisconsin and Clarkson...missed four games at mid-season while representing Team USA at the IIHF Junior World Championship in the Czech Republic.
 
2006-07: Sweatt led all Colorado College freshmen and finished third on the team overall with 26 points (9g,17a) in 30 games his rookie season...his 17 assists and 16 power-play points (4g,12a) ranked second most among all Tigers...also one of CC’s top penalty killers, with a shorthanded goal in an 8-1 triumph over NCAA tournament participant Alabama-Huntsville early in the campaign...factored in on four game-winning goals, scoring two in victories at Denver (3-0) and Minnesota Duluth (4-2) while assisting on two others...helped Team USA win a bronze medal at the IIHF Junior World Championship in Nova Scotia at mid-season...a second-round selection of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2007 NHL entry draft, and at No. 38 overall, is the second highest draft choice ever from Colorado College.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: Sweatt played for the United States National Under-18 Team that went 42-17-2 overall and won its second consecutive North American Hockey League divisional title in 2005-06...collected 55 points (29g,26a), including a pair of game-winning goals, in 59 games...was named Best Forward at the IIHF Under-18 World Championships in Halmstad, Sweden, where the U.S. claimed a gold medal...helped the Americans win the Four Nations Cup Tournament the previous season...involved with the National Team Development Program since 2002, participating in the Select 16 and 17 festivals earlier in his career...also a member of the U.S. national inline team that won a gold medal at the 2006 World Championships and finished third in 2005.
