HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2007-08:
One of only five Colorado College players to suit up for all 41 games, Vlassopoulos emerged as a key figure on CC’s power play, where his 11 assists and 12 points ranked first among forwards and second on the team overall... named WCHA Offensive Player of the Week after collecting four points (2g,2a) in a road sweep at Minnesota Duluth in late February...centered the second line all season, recording six multiple-point games and finishing with a +13 plus-minus rating...factored in on five game-winning goals the second half of the season, scoring one in a 3-0 victory at UMD and assisting on four others in triumphs over Wisconsin, Bemidji State, Clarkson and Denver...named to the All-WCHA Academic Team for the second consecutive year.
2006-07: Vlassopoulos collected 16 points (5g,11a) in 24 games after returning to the lineup following more than a year of rehabilitation from a knee injury...contributed 11 points (1g,10a) on the power play and assisted on Mike Testwuide’s game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime triumph over Wisconsin...scored his first collegiate goal in the third period of a 5-3 victory over Bemidji State in late December.
2005-06: Vlassopoulos declared medical hardship after suffering a season-ending knee injury in the season opener, a 6-1 victory over Union College. 
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: Despite being hindered by an injury, Vlassopoulos put together an impressive season with the United States National Under-18 Team in 2004-05...helped the American squad win a gold medal at the 2005 IIHF World Championships in the Czech Republic, playing in all six games...collected 25 points (6g,19a) in 45 outings overall, including one shorthanded goal and a game winner among his six tallies...won national championships earlier in his career at the peewee, bantam and midget levels.
