Biography

HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2007-08:
McCulloch, who returns for a fifth year with Colorado College after winning a medical hardship case stemming from his rookie campaign, tied for the team lead with five game-winning goals among his 13 tallies overall last season...also assisted on a GWG, and scored once shorthanded as well as five times on the power play, tying for second among all CC players...recorded his third career hat trick in a 5-3 home-ice victory over St. Cloud State in early February...was recipient of the prestigious WCHA Scholar Athlete Award and an All-Academic Team selection for the third consecutive year...played in 103 consecutive games, including the first 22 of ‘07-08, before an injury forced him out of the lineup for two weekends at mid-season.
2006-07:  Struck for a career-best and team-high 18 goals...also led CC with 10 power-play goals and four game winners, including two in victories over NCAA tournament semifinalist North Dakota...scored four times in an 8-1 victory over NCAA playoff participant Alabama-Huntsville early in the campaign.  
2005-06: Collected a goal and an assist each in early non-league victories over Union College and Air Force...also scored in triumphs over Michigan Tech and Boston University the first half of the season.
2004-05: Scored the first goal of his collegiate career to help the Tigers beat Denver, 3-1, then recorded a hat trick in a 6-1 triumph over Michigan Tech before suffering a season-ending injury in CC’s 11th game of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: McCulloch spent two seasons with the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League...named Playoff MVP after helping Grande Prairie defeat Ft. McMurry in the 2004 AJHL finals...finished the ‘03-04 regular season with 49 points (23g,26a), fourth highest total on the team, then added 22 more (12g,10a) in 21 post-season outings overall before the Storm dropped a best-of-seven Doyle Cup series with the British Columbia champion Nanaimo Clippers...a left-handed power forward with an excellent scoring touch.
