Pardon our dust ... the game’s on us!

Due to the $27 million renovation of the El Pomar Sports Center that began on Monday, Oct. 31, Colorado College basketball fans can watch the Tigers for free throughout the entire 2011-12 season.

While the main entrance to the facility is under construction, the entrance to the J. Juan Reid Gymnasium will be temporarily located around the back of El Pomar, adjacent to Washburn Field.

El Pomar is located near the lower left corner of the campus map.

In addition, some parking spots along Cache La Poudre Street will be lost.

To make up for the inconvenience this may cause, admission will be free for all 25 CC home games.

The season begins on Nov. 19 and 20 when the women’s team plays host to the 2011 Colorado College Tip-Off Tournament.

The men play the first of their 10 home games on Dec. 2 and 3 when Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rivals Southwestern University and Trinity University visit Reid Gymnasium. Each night’s doubleheader starts with the women’s contest at 6 p.m.
