2012 Campus Parking Map
Due to the ongoing renovation and construction of the El Pomar Sports Center and the Adam F. Press Fitness Center, parking and access for fans attending home contests this Fall will be a little different. We hope the following information will be helpful as you join us for Colorado College athletics events.
Stewart Field and Washburn Field - Men’s and Women’s Soccer
Spectators will be unable to access the fields from the west or the southwest. The driveway between the El Pomar Sports Center and the Burghart Tennis Courts will be blocked off. In addition, there will be no access from the Monument Valley Park Trail and through the tennis courts. The only way to access the fields will be from the east, near the Western Ridge Complex and McHugh Commons.
Take I-25 to exit 143. Turn east (away from mountains) on Uintah Street, and proceed up the hill about a quarter mile to Cascade Ave. Turn right (south) on Cascade. The campus map shows the best parking options and recommended paths to the entrance gate.
Please note: the small parking lot east of the Washburn Field stands is closed as well.
El Pomar Sports Complex - Women’s Volleyball / Men’s and Women’s Basketball
The main entrance to the El Pomar Sports Center will be the only entrance into Reid Arena for the 2012-13 seasons. This is the entrance that faces Cache La Poudre. There will be no access from the north/campus side of the building.
Take I-25 to exit 143. Turn east (away from mountains) on Uintah Street, and proceed up the hill about a quarter mile to Cascade Avenue. Turn right (south) on Cascade to Cache La Poudre. Turn right (west) on Cache La Poudre and down the hill to the El Pomar Sports Center, third and final building on the right.
Parking is on the street and very limited near the facility. Additional parking is available on Dale Street just to the south, or in the Monument Valley Park lot across the creek to the west. Walk up the steps to the El Pomar Sports Center’s main entrance facing south, and once inside the doors, make an immediate left to access the gym.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding access, please contact Andy Obringer at (719) 389-6107.
