Hometown: Aurora, CO

Major: Neuroscience with Spanish minor

Favorite Class: Spanish 305/306 (taught in Soria, Spain).

Top CC Academic Moment/Accomplishment: Doing well in the two-block Neuroscience class during the peak of volleyball season with the support of my professors, coaches, and teammates who quizzed me in the airport and kept me company during the hours of studying.

Special Talents/Skills: Thrifting, finishing TV shows and spending money on boba.

Hobbies: Drawing, traveling, skiing and reading.

Proudest Moment at CC: Realizing that through my internship experiences and building my own network of connections, I have the resources and knowledge to pursue an interesting interdisciplinary thesis project. Through the psychology department and volleyball team I have the opportunity to combine my personal interests with my academic interests, including neuroscience, psychology, art and volleyball.

Community Service Experience: Through both Athletics (SAAC) and the Center for Community Engagement, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of different organizations including TESSA, Team Impact, Habitat for Humanity Re-store, Neuroscience Outreach, and hopefully more new opportunities to come. Some of my unpaid research experiences have also involved using art as a care modality in hospital settings.
