Jim Pogue is in his fourth season on the Colorado College staff and will help coach the defensive backs again this season.
Pogue was a four-time letterwinner and co-captain of the Tigers in 1974 under head coach Jerry Carle.
He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Ent Air Force Base in Colorado, U-Tapao Air Force Base in Thailand and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
After leaving the Air Force, Pogue worked at the correctional officer training school in Tucson, Ariz. He has coached high school football in Colorado, Alabama and Arizona.
Pogue and his wife, Kathleen, reside in Colorado Springs and have six children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
