Sarah Pokelwaldt is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Colorado College cross country and track and field teams.
Pokelwaldt captained Colorado College’s women’s cross country team that captured the 2019 SCAC title. She finished 14th overall, earning all-conference honors and sealing the win for the Tigers. Pokelwaldt also ran at the All-Region meet, finishing in Colorado College’s top 5 runners.
To cap her collegiate career, Pokelwaldt set the school record in the indoor 5k. Although her senior track season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was awarded the Team Leadership Award.

Pokelwaldt earned a bachelor of arts degree in organismal biology and ecology from CC in May of 2020.
She will concentrate on coaching the women’s middle-distance athletes (800, 1500) this spring. Pokelwaldt continues to run and is training for her first marathon.
