Biography
2014: Competed in six races as a junior … earned a spot on the SCAC all-conference team and helping the Tigers capture the conference title with an 11th place finish at 28:28 … ran his fastest time at the Fort Hays Open with a time of 27:28, finishing in the top 200 … posted a top 100 finish at the NCAA Regional meet as well, finishing with a time of 27:57.
2013: One of four Tigers to run in every meet for Colorado College, Rothman dropped 2:17 off his 8K clocking over the course of the season ... Finished fourth on the team at the West Region championships after missing out on all-conference honors by one spot a week earlier ... Ran a season-best 27:37.69 at the Willamette Invitational.
2012: Posted a personal-record 8K clocking of 26:58 at the West Regional meet, finishing as CC's sixth fastest runner there as a freshman ... Dropped more than two minutes off his time over the course of the season.
Before Colorado College: A two-year captain in cross country at the Alexander Dawson School in Lafayette, Colo., where he posted a personal best of 16:55 in the 5K his junior season ... An academic all-state selection who also earned three letters in track and field, winning back-to-back conference titles in the 3,200 meters (10:38 PR).
