HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2008-09: A two-time member of the All-WCHA Academic Team, DeBoer played in all but three of Colorado College’s 38 games as a junior last season...scored two game-winning goals on the road, in a 4-3 victory at Alaska Anchorage and a 1-0 triumph at Minnesota...also assisted on the GWG as the Tigers beat Minnesota State, 5-2, at home in early January.
2007-08: Saw action in nearly 70 percent of CC’s games his sophomore year, playing primarily a defensive role on one of the team’s checking lines...while his only tally of the season came in a 4-2 loss at St. Cloud State in mid-December, two of his three assists were on game-winning goals in key home-ice victories over Air Force and Denver the second half of the campaign.
2006-07: Struck for the game-winning goal as the Tigers beat Michigan Tech (2-1) at home early during his freshman season, and later assisted on another GWG in a 4-2 victory at Minnesota Duluth...collected four points (2g,2a) on the power play while appearing in 35 of CC’s 39 outings...picked up a pair of assists in a 5-1 triumph over arch-rival Denver at the World Arena.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: The all-time scoring leader at Spring Lake Park High School, DeBoer collected 187 (83g,104a) career points during his prep career...finished second individually in the Metro League as a senior team captain in 2005-06, amassing 75 points (37g,38a) in 26 games with the Panthers while accounting for seven game-winning goals...earned all-conference and team MVP honors three times and won a pair of league scoring titles...participated in USA Hockey’s Select-17 national festival.
