Brent Seidel joined the Colorado College hockey staff as a volunteer assistant coach in January of 2020.
Seidel is the manager of USA Hockey’s Coaching Education Program in Colorado Springs.
Prior to joining USA Hockey, Seidel worked for the Seattle Thunderbirds where he served as Hockey Operations Coordinator. During his time with Seattle he worked as a goalie coach for Kent Valley Youth Hockey Association, the Sno-King Junior Thunderbirds and the Western Washington Female Hockey Association. He has worked previously as hockey director for the West Sound Hockey Club in Bremerton, Washington while overseeing rink operations and serving as the Assistant General Manager of the West Sound Warriors Tier III Jr. A team in the Northern Pacific Hockey League. Brent got his career started with the City of Greeley, Colorado where he spent 2 years as the Hockey and Figure Skating coordinator for the Greeley Ice Haus.
The Spokane, Washington native holds a Level 5 USA Hockey coaching certification along with a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University where he played ACHA hockey for 4 years. In 2014, he earned a master’s degree in Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University.
