HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2010-11: A member of the All-WCHA Academic Team, Behrend played in 19 games before seeing his junior season come to a premature end because of an injury...recorded the first point of his collegiate career in late November, assisting on Archie Skalbeck’s game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Alaska Anchorage that ignited a six-game winning streak for Colorado College.
2009-10: Appeared in six games as a sophomore, helping Colorado College to home-ice victories over Northeastern, Wisconsin and Air Force, as well as one at St. Cloud State...continued to show improvement throughout the season.
2008-09: Made his official collegiate debut in a 3-2 victory over Colgate University in late November...CC was 3-2-3, including a 1-0 victory at the University of Minnesota, with him in the lineup.

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: A first-team all-state selection both his junior and senior seasons at Oregon High School, where he was a finalist for state Player of the Year honors, Behrend collected 33 points (18g,15a) while serving as team captain in 2007-08...had 37 points (19g,18a) for the Panthers a year earlier, after playing AAA midget hockey for the Madison Capitols in ‘04-05 and ‘05-06... skated for a Wisconsin select team that won a under-16 Central District title and advanced to nationals in 2007. 

PERSONAL NOTES: Born Ted Steven Behrend, son of Dan and Barb Behrend of Oregon, Wisconsin...an honors student in high school...lists golf, frisbee golf, fishing, softball and hanging out with friends as some of his interests outside of hockey.
