HIGHLIGHTS AS A TIGER
2008-09:
With 14 goals and 23 points as a junior, Johnson surpassed the totals of his first two collegiate seasons combined...struck for the game winner in CC’s first two victories of the campaign, including one with 2:07 left in regulation of a come-from-behind 3-2 triumph at the University of Wisconsin...also set up a key tally in that game...recorded five multiple-point outings, scoring twice and adding an assist on two occasions...finished with four power-play goals.    
2008-09: Half of Johnson’s six goals as a sophomore came in a two-game series at Michigan Tech...his first of two goals in the second contest that weekend stood up as the game winner in a 4-1 victory over the Huskies...earlier in the season he struck for the GWG in a 3-2 home-ice triumph over Colgate University...saw an increase of ice time on special teams, scoring three times on the power play.
2007-08:
Played in all but one of Colorado College’s 41 games his freshman season, when he struck for the game-winning goal in a first-round WCHA playoff victory over Alaska Anchorage...collected 10 of his 13 points, including all five of his tallies, the second half of the campaign after picking up three assists in his first 17 outings...scored his first career goal in a 2-0 home-ice triumph over Wisconsin in early January.  

HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: Johnson is a 2007 graduate of Cloquet (Minnesota) High School, where he collected 50 points (29g,21a) in 20 games for the sectional finalist Lumberjacks in 2006-07 before an injury shortened his senior season...seven of his 29 goals were game winners...also skated for a United States Under-18 Team that played six international opponents in the Czech Republic in August 2006...a finalist for the prestigious “Mr. Hockey” Award in Minnesota, he earned all-state recognition and was the Duluth News Tribune Player of the Year in 2005-06.
