Sean Elvert

Elvert joined the Colorado College men's soccer program as an assistant coach on May 1, 2022, and enters his third season with the program in 2024. 
 
Elvert comes to Colorado College after serving as the Goalkeeper Director, College Director, and ECNL coach at Arsenal Colorado. In addition to his work with an Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) member, he added significant experience as both a player and head coach at the NCAA Division III level.
 
During his time at Arsenal Colorado, he helped build and develop a program of over 100 goalkeepers while producing several goalkeepers that transferred on to MLS Next or ECNL Girls clubs in the Denver area. He also coached the 02/03 ECNL Boys team to a conference title and appearance at the National Finals.

 
Prior to his arrival in Fort Collins, Elvert served as head coach at Bluffton University from July 2018 through March 2020. During the 2019 season, he led a young Beaver side to the best start in program history and the most single-season wins in over a decade.
 
Elvert began his coaching career at Bluffton in August 2015 as a graduate assistant. He also served as an assistant coach at Ohio Northern University prior to returning to Bluffton as a head coach. 
 
As a collegiate goalkeeper, Elvert played for the Loras College teams that made four consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship, including back-to-back appearances in the Final Four in 2012-13 and a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2014.
 
Elvert earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Loras in 2015 and his MBA from Bluffton in 2017.
