Tomas Martinez

Tomas Martinez enters his 12th season as the assistant coach of the Colorado College men's soccer team. During his tenure with the Tigers, CC has a record of 138-45-25.

Martinez has been with the Tigers since the legendary head coach Horst Richardson retired as the winningest coach in program history. He has been with the current head coach, Scott Palguta, since he took over in 2015 and has become the second-winningest coach in the team's history.

Martinez has helped coach the Tigers to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including back-to-back bids in 2023 and 2024. Last year, the Tigers finished with a 16-3-3 record and went 10-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, winning the regular season title for the second consecutive season. In 2023, CC made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1992.

CC won the SCAC Coaching Staff of the Year award in both 2023 and 2024.
