Ilona Wilson enters her 10th season as the assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis teams at Colorado College in 2022-23. She joined the program prior to the spring portion of the 2013-14 season after spending one season as the girls tennis coach at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs.

In addition to her duties at CC, Wilson is on the tennis staff at the Monument Hill Country Club in Monument, Colo.
A 1999 graduate of Hofstra University, she played tennis on an NCAA Division I scholarship there, serving as team captain her final three years and earning a spot on the American East Conference honor roll her last two. The two-time team MVP also earned a master's degree in physical education from Hofstra in 2001.
Wilson previously coached at Hofstra and Ithaca College in New York, and was a physical education instructor at Cornell University. She also has considerable experience teaching and coaching at the elementary and high school levels.

Wilson and her husband Bill, the head coach for the men’s lacrosse team at the Air Force Academy, have two daughters, Abigail and Olivia.
