Dustin Trujillo

Dustin Trujillo, who attended Colorado College from 2001-04, is in his first season as an assistant coach with the men’s soccer program and the track & field teams.
 
A native of Montrose, Colo., Trujillo studied religion and was named the men’s track & field team’s 2002 rookie of the year while attending CC.
 
After graduating from the University of Colorado in 2006 with a second bachelor’s degree in psychology, Trujillo pursued a career in intelligence and supported organizations such as the CIA, FBI, DEA, State Department and Special Operations units.
 
While serving in the U.S. Army from 2009-12, Trujillo trained with the All Army Soccer team and completed a master’s degree in international relations at Troy University.
 
Trujillo recently returned from overseas, where he spent a total of 18 months in Afghanistan training NATO forces as well as members of the Afghan and Jordanian militaries.  He often used soccer to bridge the cultural and ethnic gaps between the nations.
 
Trujillo is currently working towards his USSF coaching license.
