Biography
2012: Senior ran season-best time of 10:00.35 in 3K steeplechase at Grinnell Invitational to record first college victory…placed fourth (10:07.32) at SCAC Championships.
2011: Did not compete.
2010: Dougan posted a personal best of 9:59.16 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase his sophomore year, when he also ran the 3,200 meters in 10:48 and the 5,000 in 17:35.
2009: As part of CC's amazing freshman steeplechase trio, Dougan dropped his time from an 11:37 all the way down to a 10:31 – an improvement of 66 seconds over the course of the season.
Before Colorado College: Dougan earned four varsity letters in cross country and three in track at Pattonville High School in Maryland, Mo., where he graduated in the top 10 of his class...earned all-conference honors and was a state qualifier each of his last two
years.
