Biography
2015: Captured her second consecutive SCAC individual title, covering the 6K course in a time of 24:08 … led the Tigers to their second straight team title … finished 11th at the Division III West Region meet to earn all-region honors and qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships … ran a personal-best 22:12 and finished 78th at the national meet, the best result by a CC female runner at the national meet since Gretchen Grindle finished 27th in 1999 … clocked a personal-best 5K time of 18:27 at the Fort Hays State Open ... named the team’s Most Valuable Runner.
2014: Named SCAC Runner of the Year award after capturing the individual title at the SCAC championships with a blistering time of 23:17 … helped the team claim its first SCAC team title … led the team at the Cowboy Jamboree (5th overall), Pomona-Pitzer Invitational (20th overall) and Fort Hays Open (34th overall) … led the Tigers to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Regional meet by finishing 26th individually with a time of 23:13 … ran a season-best 5K time of 18:30 at the Fort Hays Open.
2013: Named co-recipient of Colorado College's annual "Rookie" Award after earning All-SCAC honors with an 11th-place finish at the conference championships ... posted four consecutive personal records after the CC Invitational in late September, eventually dropping her times to a 19:01 in the 5K and a 23:39 in the 6K.
Before Colorado College: A four-sport athlete at Oregon's Ashland High School, where she was a member of the crew, ski, soccer and track and field teams, Wessler finished eighth at the state meet in the 3,000 meters her senior year with a time of 10:45.55.
