Biography
2010:
Posted a personal 6K bests set of 24:47 and a personal 5K bests set of 20:20…had the second largest 6K improvement from last year who improved her personal best by 2 minutes and 5 seconds.
2009: Recipient of the team's "Most Improved Runner" award after improving her 6K time by 1:46 with a 26:52 at the CC Invitational and running a 27:34 at regionals.
2008: Recorded a personal-best 28:38 in the 6K and season-best 24:18 in the 5K during her rookie season with the Tigers.
Before Colorado College: Thompson lettered all four years in both cross country and track as a prep at Kings High School in Washington...helped helped King's harriers claim state championships in 2004, 2006 and 2007, as well as league and district titles in both sports for four consecutive seasons.
